Anilao, Batangas

Anilao is turing into another of our nearby favourite beach spots. Although it is almost a three hour drive it is an easy one, down the South Super Luzon Expressway and then just turn right in Batangas. First time we came down was in September and we enjoyed our stay at Arthur's Place, snorkelling around the reefs in crystal clear waters and going for a small excursion to a Robinson style island.

Going for an afternoon excursion and for dinner at Casita Ysabel. Anilao itself is not where you go if you're looking for a white sand beach spot, but kids love the rocks for a change. And waters are as crystal clear as can be.

Next day a small excursion to a small island.

That one!

Setting up camp. And got our fair share of white sand/coral beach.

Little friends.

Going back to Manila we decided to take the small roads and passed a number of villages, that all looked more or less the same. Next time we'll stay longer and take the SLEX straight back.

And - this time I dont have to write "we'll be back!" because we already have and it just got better! (posts coming)
