Corregidor Island

During Jiiji and Baaba's visit we also had time for an escape to the war-torn Manila Bay Corregidor Island, to learn more about its violent history and discover the different corners and colors of the island.

Leaving Manila, on board Sun Cruisers little ferry.

Posing at different bunkers. There were plenty of ruins and canons and other war-related stuff, for those who like that. Although as we advocate peace on earth, tried to pose next to the cool wall rather than in front of mass destruction weapons.

The island is also really green and the air very different from inside Manila.

Jiiji and Baaba enjoyed the hop-on-hop-off-(all-the-time) bus tour.

 Loads of ruins...

It was a long, fun day...

 ... although tiring as well.

Returning home.
Manila, Manila... lovely Manila...
